Long Time No Blog

I won't bore you with the details of our computer crash, but will give you a quick warning: our 7 year old workhorse computer is still alive and running fine. Our 2 year old computer crashed the hard drive, which appears to be unrecoverable. I backed up our family pictures through September, so we lost all pics of Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc., along with hundreds of "artwork" pictures that I rarely back-up (why you might ask? to learn a lesson, I guess). The AM the computer crashed, Sue sent pictures to be printed at Wal Mart, so we at least now have a disk with some of them. Latest event is that our DVD drive now seems to have failed, so I can't recover the pictures -- suspecting now a more serious hardware problem with the whole computer. Ahh, those unexpected expenses.
