Feeding the animals

A few weeks ago, Susan signed Macy up for an "animal valentine" class at the local nature center. We had fun making birdseed cookies for the birds, and fat-icing, nut, and raisin concoctions for animals (I'm convinced that only in the midwest would we be making cookies for birds and icing-based food for animals). They also had a puppet show and animal show and tell. It was nice to have 1:1 time together. 

I'm seeing a theme here...

Elton, Bono, Bono, Elton 

"Hey, professor, those look like my glasses..." Calvin ran around with them for a good 10 minutes. 

Happy Valentine's Day

Susan made our Valentine cake early so I could have some. It is truly a labor of love.
