Birthday Scenes

Macy had some friends over to celebrate her birthday. It was a nice party, especially for a certain young brother, who got to the cake twice before it was time to eat. We had activities that included a Dancing with the Stars competition, where the girls showed off their most elegant moves to the tunes of Barbie.

Wakulla River Boat Cruise

The tour guide just teased the group that a small chain rope across the front of the boat (closing off the walkway) was what kept the gators out... they don't look so sure!

Trip to Wakulla Springs

Dad & Barbara took us to Wakulla Springs, where we had a nice picnic and went on the river cruise. We got to see manatee, gators, birds, and beautiful river scenery. It is sad, however, that the spring is no longer clear as it was when we were kids, and the bright-blue, crystal-clear waters haven't been seen for a while. Will they ever return?
