Happy Birthday!!!

We had two days of celebration of Sue's B-day, with this "miracle cake" coming on day 2. Yes, it may just be the ugliest cake ever made, but if you saw it before it was iced, you'd appreciate it for even existing. We had a nice time with Jane visiting -- she was a tremendous help with the kids, and we actually slept all night for 2 nights (sorry Jane)!

Magical Forest

The kids had a great time seeing a mix of real and "acted" animals at the magical forest.

Cal's latest antics include silly dancing and introductions to strangers. "What's your name?" he asks anyone around us. They tell him their name, and he proceeds to introduce us to the person to us and tells us to say "hi." Not sure where this is being modeled, but he has it down pat. The silly dancing is his way of capturing eyeballs & smiles, I'm pretty sure.
