DSG Santa Breakfast

As usual for a KCDSG event, the Santa Breakfast was a great time for the kids, and a boon for the parents, as Hallmark donated $30K of wrapping paper and other assorted items for parents to take home. These events allow us to have no guilt about just 'consuming' others' service vs. feeling like we should be serving. It is great!

Blogamania

Hi folks, we do this blog because we love sharing what's going on with our family with you. We also wanted an easy way for you to share your thoughts with us (and anyone else who's out there reading) on any given post. So here is a note of encouragement for you to leave comments or questions on the blog -- that's one of the cool things about blogs, and one of the things that keep bloggers going :-) It gives readers a chance to just browse, or to contribute and feel more connected with others, or to ask questions that others might find interesting to hear answered. OK, so there's my web 2.0 lesson for the week. Have a great night, and thanks for following our blog!

Quick weather change

We went from a warm day of running outside to a cold, snowy day so the kids could have a white early Christmas. Sorry about the snot, but we're authentic here...

Now how do we put this together?

You just can't stage this kind-of stuff...

Sometimes it is hard to be the oldest cousin...
Sometimes it is hard to be the youngest.

Don't get too close!

Using an extension tube, which allows you to shoot very close with a long lense, with very shallow depth of field (as if anyone cares to know...). Coloring on eyes is from M&M eye replacement surgery...
