Hot Winter Nights

We scored some free tickets to the Hot Winter Nights volleyball event at the Sprint Center, and they didn't check my camera bag, so I was able to do a little shooting before they suggested I give them my camera (apparently, you can't have a camera with a removable lens). We got to see the Olympic gold medal winner (Dahlhauser?) and other top pros play (men) and Kerri Walsh was there signing autographs, but it was one long line I really didn't care to stand in, as cool as it would have been to have the kids picture with an olympian -- besides, they wouldn't have let me use my camera anyway. Somehow I imagine if I had my old Pentax K1000, they wouldn't have cared. How little things change in the digital world...
